How does it work?

Glampy's rental process is simple and convenient:

  1. Select your package and rental period
  2. Agree to the terms and conditions and make your deposit payment
  3. Receive a confirmation from us securing your booking and communicating any more details
  4. We drop off your Glampy rentals the day before you leave
  5. Enjoy your camping adventure with your Glampy gear!
  6. We pick up your gear at the end of your booking

Can I get camping gear delivered to my location?

Glampy offers delivery within Toronto (please see the delivery range in the photo below).

If you're within our delivery range, you can enjoy the convenience of having your rented camping gear delivered directly to your preferred address.

If you reside outside of our delivery zone, don't worry! We have a designated central pickup and drop-off area at Yonge/York Mills, located at 4050 Yonge St, North York, ON M2P 2G2. We will coordinate a time with you to meet at the pickup location to deliver your equipment.

How much room do I need to make in my vehicle?

The amount of space required in your vehicle depends on the package you choose. For our largest Glamping package, you will need the trunk or back area of an SUV to accommodate all the gear comfortably. If you have any concerns about fitting the gear in your vehicle, please let us know, and we can provide further guidance and suggestions to ensure a hassle-free experience.

Do I need to bring anything else?

While we provide the camping gear outlined in our rental packages, there are a few items you need to bring:

1. A cooler with your preferred food and beverages for your trip

2. Your own pillows for the best sleep

3. Your own personal belongings including clothing, toiletries, entertainment, etc.

How often is the gear cleaned and inspected?

At Glampy, we prioritize cleanliness and safety. All gear is thoroughly inspected and cleaned after each use. You can rest assured that the camping equipment you receive will be in excellent condition.

What is your cancellation and refund policy?

If you need to cancel your reservation, we require a minimum of 48 hours' notice in order to cancel the booking and issue a full refund. 

Can I bring my own gear?

Absolutely! If you prefer to bring some of your own camping gear, you are more than welcome to do so. Simply let us know in advance what gear of your own you plan to bring, and we'll exclude those items from the package. Please note that the standard rental fee will be applied even if you choose to bring some of your own gear.

Can I rent individual items?

At this time, we are not offering individual items for rent. 

Are there any age restrictions for renting camping gear?

You must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid credit card to rent gear from Glampy.

What happens if the rented gear gets damaged or lost?

We understand that there is general wear and tear that might occur during the use of our equipment. However, we do expect our Glampy customers to treat the equipment as they would their own. We do require a security deposit when renting our equipment, and will deduct any replacement or repair fees from the deposit if we find the gear is lost or damaged beyond general wear and tear.
